Freedom stalls, also known as Free Access Stalls, allow the sows to enter and leave the crate at will. Once inside, the sow may eat and drink as she wishes and is protected from more aggressive sows who might eat portions of another's feed. Feeding and watering take place in the crate giving every sow her space to lie down at will. This stall can be incorporated with any type of feeding system. Because sows are not confined, the entire area for each crate as well as the common area is included in necessary space for each animal.
Stalls are ganged together and can be individually or gang locked for access to individual sows.
Free access stalls can be modified to your individual barns, flooring style, feeding and manure system.
